When David is not teaching his classes or cooking, he can be found in Berlin, Germany with his wonderful two urchins and his beloved partner. Life in Germany is idyllic: filled with horses, roller hockey, long hikes, museums galore, photography, weekend jaunts with the puppy, cycling, foodie explorations and roaming the world in search of art and nature in all their glorious forms. Los Angeles is David’s second home. He is a resident of the glorious Valley. David’s California passions include too many backyard succulents, bike rides through the mountains around LA, ice hockey, art in all its manifestations, Joshua Tree visits and weekly samplings of the metropolis’ bounteous food offerings.
